Advanced Training - ForecastPro
The InVision Advanced Training - ForecastPro is designed for participants to learn how to use all features of ForecastPro, the forecasting module.
Training objective
Once you have completed the training, you will be able to interpret and edit distribution curves relevant for scheduling, and to carry out requirement calculations. In addition, you will learn how to define and use virtual value types for a more complex planning process.
Content
This training will provide you with insightful knowledge of the structure and the scope of the ForecastPro module’s application. Apart from a theoretical presentation, a hands-on forecasting process will take us through the following software components:
AdminPro
- Administration of master data, definition of settings for a precise forecast of the workload
- How to configure user rights so as to facilitate the use of ForecastPro
- Definition of virtual value types and virtual queues

How to use formulas to take advantage of advanced evaluation options in the Shift Center and in the OnlineCockpit
(re-forecast, service level, etc.)
ForecastPro
- Structure and general approach of the ForecastPro module
- How to display and edit historical daily and weekly curves
- Performing a forecast while taking into account trend calculations
- Calculating the employee requirement in a realistic scenario
- How to take into account seasonal change patterns and special events as well as their effect on the forecasting process
- How to create simulated scenarios
Target audience
The InVision Advanced Training - ForecastPro is geared to forecasters, workforce managers, staff planners and supervisors.
Prerequisites
To participate, you must have completed the InVision Basic Training. Besides, you should have gathered comprehensive experience in using the InVision Enterprise WFM.
