Basic Training - Using the AutoScheduler

The InVision Basic Training: AutoScheduler is designed to familiarise participants with all essential functions of the InVision Enterprise WFM

Training objective

Once you have completed the training, you will be proficient in using the InVision Enterprise WFM and more specifically the AutoScheduler to carry out an automated scheduling process.

Content

We shall start by introducing the general approach of the InVision Enterprise WFM and the special qualities of the AutoScheduler. In addition, you will learn what basic conditions have to be met to guarantee successful scheduling later on. Apart from a theoretical presentation, a hands-on scheduling process will take us through the following modules:

    (managing users, configuring scheduling rules, connecting external systems)

  • Discussion of basic steps required to perform a forecast
  • Forecasting scenario: calculation of employee requirement

  • Shift Center: how to successfully handle the day-to-day management
  • Schedule optimisation

  • How to use the AutoScheduler’s functions for automated scheduling
  • How to create employee schedules

  • Managing shift trading requests

  • Comparison of forecasted and actual values; evaluation of scheduling results

Target Audience

This basic training is designed to suit all those who have just begun using the InVision Enterprise WFM and who have decided to use the AutoScheduler.
