InVision Training X-Link, Mapping & System Administration

This training programme will teach you how to integrate InVision Enterprise WFM into an existing IT environment.

Training objective

You will become proficient in configuring the InVision Enterprise WFM and carrying out subsequent modifications.

Content

We shall start by introducing participants to the technological architecture of the system as well as its installation and configuration. In this context, we shall discuss how to improve the system’s performance and other typical technological issues as well as possible ways of reacting to them. During the rest of the training you will become familiar with the following processes’ theoretical aspects and get a practical grasp on them:

Enterprise Server
  • Introduction to the multi-tier architecture and the modular structure of the iWFM
  • Presentation of the program logic and the functions for database access
  • Administration and analysis of the configurable log files
AdminPro
  • How to set up and manage queues and key figures
SchedulePro
  • Technical structure of the Shift Center
OnlineCockpit
  • Visual display of scheduling data
Xlink
  • How to map data
  • How to set up and connect interfaces to external systems
  • Administration and maintenance of the Xlink environment
  • Configuration of PhoneLink and TimeLink interfaces
  • Fundamentals for the import of login and logout data
Help Desk & Customer Support
  • Introduction of the InVision Help Desk and the customer portal

Target Audience

The training is geared particularly to IT administrators and power users.

Prerequisites

To participate, you must have basic experience in using the InVision Enterprise WFM. Besides, you must have IT skills regarding operating systems, networks and databases as well as knowledge with respect to linking up external systems.
